PASIGHAT, 12 Mar: East Siang Deputy Commissioner Tayi Taggu visited the one-stop centre (OSC), the Humane Academy Child Care Institute (CCI) and the juvenile observation-cum-special home (JH) here on Friday.
Accompanied by ICDS Deputy Director M Gao, Taggu interacted with the staffs and inmates of all three institutions and stressed on “proper functioning of the institutions with sincerity and dedication in the district.”
The DC heard out the issues and problems being faced by the institutions and assured to take up all the issues at the appropriate levels. He instructed the officers to conduct regular meetings with the stakeholders, and called for dealing with the pending cases at the earliest and within the provisions of the law. (DIPRO)
