Evangelist Dr Joram Dol passes away; ACF, Tuki mourn

ITANAGAR, 11 Apr: Popular evangelist Dr Joram Dol passed away on Monday in a hospital in Guwahati (Assam).

Dr Dol was reportedly unwell for the last one week.

The Arunachal Christian Forum (ACF) has expressed deep sorrow over the untimely demise of Dr Joram Dol.

“He was a very young, energetic person who served the society with humanity and

served as a servant of god, always believing in the saying, Service to man is service to god,” the ACF stated in a condolence message.

Stating that Dol’s sudden demise has left a deep vacuum in the Christian community, the ACF offered condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul.

Former chief minister Nabam Tuki has also deeply mourned the demise of Dr Joram Dol.

In a condolence message, Tuki recalled him as a “soft-natured, kind-hearted and loving person,” and prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul.

“He served the society with humanity and served as servant of god. His premature demise is a great loss for the society and Christian community,” Tuki said, and conveyed heartfelt condolence to the bereaved family.
