Road safety prog held

TEZU, 12 Apr: The internal quality assurance cell (IQAC) of the Indira Gandhi Government College (IGGC) here in Lohit district organised an awareness programme on road safety, in collaboration with the SP office, at the college auditorium on Tuesday.

Addressing the gathering, IGGC Principal Dr Kangki Megu said that the college students should follow the road safety rules and regulations. He urged the students to adhere to the safety measures “and become an agent to spread the message to the larger society.”

Lohit SP Ankit Singh made a presentation on ‘Road safety and cyber crime’, during which he spoke about “the safety measures in driving vehicles and on approaching the road.”

He further advised the student community to be “vigilant in knowing the cyber crimes, the modus operandi of the cyber frauds and how one can avoid these crimes.”

Officers and staff of the police department and faculty members and students of the college participated in the programme.
