Awareness prog on Covid vaccination held at RGU

RONO HILLS, 28 Apr: An awareness programme on the importance of Covid-19 vaccination was conducted at three different locations in the Rajiv Gandhi University (RGU) campus here on Thursday.

The programme, which was attended by students, teaching and non-teaching staffs, the medical team and campus dwellers, was organised by the All Arunachal Pradesh Psychological Association, in collaboration with the Don Bosco University, Guwahati, and with technical support from UNICEF India.

A skit was performed by the members of the psychosocial support group, focusing on the importance of Covid-19 vaccination and the do’s and don’ts during the ongoing pandemic.

TRIHMS medicine specialist Dr H Narah shared information regarding Covid-19 doses, free schemes for the people, and how to avail them at different health centres.

Programme organiser Yuma Narah spoke on the effects of Covid-19 on the mental health of the affected persons and the healthcare professionals.
