ITANAGAR, 28 May: Dozi Tana Tara has been elected as the new president of the All Arunachal Pradesh Students’ Union (AAPSU).
A graduate from Union Christian College, Shillong, Dozi defeated his nearest rival by 123 votes. He secured a total of 1,260 votes out of 4,799 votes polled.
Dozi, who is pursuing his MA from Himalyan University, hails from Tarasso in Papum Pare district and is currently settled in Doimukh.
Meanwhile, Ritum Tali of West Siang district has been elected as the new general secretary of the AAPSU.
