ITANAGAR, 30 May: Twenty-four arm wrestlers from Arunachal Pradesh will participate in the 44th National Arm Wrestling Championships for Senior Men and Women and Junior Boys and Girls, scheduled to be held at the Gachibowli indoor stadium in Hyderabad, Telengana, from 31 May to 5 June.
The participants have been selected based on their performance in the 22nd Open State Level Arm Wrestling Championship, which was held last month.
The team, accompanied by Arunachal Pradesh Arm Wrestling Association general secretary Pakjar Taipodia as manager and Katu Yomcha as coach, left for the championships on 28 May.
