KHONSA, 27 Jun: A training programme on integrated road accident database (iRAD) was conducted for the OCs and IOs of all the police stations in Tirap district, at the DC’s office here on Monday.
District Informatics Officer Rakesh Das, along with resource person Sunya Wangno imparted hands-on training to the participants.
The iRAD project is an initiative of the union ministry of road transport & highways to improve road safety in the country.
The main objective of the project is to develop an integrated road accident database (iRAD) “to enrich the accident databases from every part of the country.” (DIPRO)
