ITANAGAR, 27 Jun: The animal husbandry & veterinary department will carry out its biannual preventive vaccination drive against foot and mouth disease (FMD) in all cloven-footed animals, haemorrhagic septicaemia and black quarter, and once-in-lifetime vaccination against brucella (aged 4-8 months) in the ICR from 29 June to 2 July.
The drive will be carried out in Chandan Nagar (left bank of the Senki river), DNGC, the polytechnic college in Vivek Vihar, RKM Hospital, and F&G Colony on 29 June; at Senki View, Niti Vihar and
IG Park on 30 June; at GHSS, Minister Colony, Raj Bhavan and Doni-Polo Road on 1 July; and at Daria Hill, Mowb 1 & 2, Nyokom Lapang and Adi Basti on 2 July, informed Veterinary Officer Dr Nido Tayo.
