ITANAGAR, 30 Jun: The Kargu Kardi Students’ Union (KKSU) has written to the education director to reconsider the transfer of four postgraduate teachers from the government higher secondary school in Yomcha and one trained graduate teacher (TGT) from the government higher secondary school in Liromoba, both in West Siang district.
The union said that the education department transferred the teachers from these schools without posting their relievers.
In the representation to the director, it said that if teachers are transferred without sending their relievers, the schools face shortage of teachers, which directly affects the students.
The union said that a copy of the representation has been sent to the MLA concerned.
