Lohit DLWCC visits Tamai and Loiliang Sarovars

TEZU, Jul 6: The Lohit District Level Water Conservation Committee (DLWCC) on Wednesday, visited the Tamai Sarovar and Loiliang Sarovar at Loiliang village with the objective of developing water bodies under Mission Amrit Sarovar  in the district.

Speaking on the occasion, Lohit deputy commissioner-cum- DLWCC   DNO Marge Sora informed that a total of 87 projects have been identified in the district, of which 12 projects have been proposed for renovation under Loiliang Gram Panchayat.

The DC also suggested all the line departments to work together for success of the projects.

During the visit, a plantation drive was organized along the site of the Sarovar with participation of officers from various departments, GBs and PRI members. (DIPRO)
