State’s mobile based agro advisory services project representatives participate in Digital Mela

PASIGHAT, 6 Jul: Representatives from ‘Mobile Based Agro Advisory Services in Arunachal Pradesh-ARIK BAIK LUNOM’ project participated in Digital Mela, which was being held from 4 to 6 July at Gandhinagar, Gujarat.

During the programme, the project and farmer representatives from the state showcased the success of ARIK ABIK LUNOM-m4agri app and toll free number (1800-102-3141) in Adi/ Galo/ Hindi/ English languages and the benefits received by the farmers from nine districts of Arunachal Pradesh viz. East Siang, West Siang, Upper Siang, Lower Siang, Siang, Lepa Rada, Lower Dibang Valley, Namsai and Shi Yomi.

The representatives from Arunachal also handed over pamphlets of ARIK ABIK LUNOM and leaflets of popular technologies to the visitors into stall.

Among the visitors who visited the stall were union minister of state for skill development and entrepreneurship and minister of state for electronics and information technology Rajeev Chandrasekhar and the officers of Digital India Corporation, ministry of electronics and information technology (MeitY), GoI.

The representative are ARIK ABIK LUNOM field manager Dinya Mesar and a progressive farmer from Mirem, East Siang district Tabi Tatan Eko.
