TUTING, 28, Dec: A team of state BJP led by its vice president Tarh Tarak visited Gelling, last village of Indo-Tibetan border in Upper Siang district on 27 December and interacted with the Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) personnel and villagers to take stock of the ground reality.
While interacting with Gelling BLC president Ngorup Tsering, GPM Namkha Dorjee and host of villagers, the visiting BJP leaders came to know that ‘there is no problem in the border and the villagers are satisfied with the implementation of various programs and policies of state and central governments. However, they expect the road communication in the area to improve.’
Tarak, while interacting with the villagers, highlighted the developmental schemes being implemented in the state and its achievements. He said that the present government is doing commendable job for the greater interest of the people of the state.
Later, visiting BJP leaders interacted with the officials of ITBP at the ITBP camp in Gelling and took stock of the ground situation.
Other members of the BJP team included BJP spokesperson Techi Necha, library cell convener Porchu Tamin, BJP media department co-convener Nima Sange.
