ITANAGAR, 23 Jan: Around 171 Class 9 and Class 12 students from various schools of the Itanagar Capital Region participated in a competition themed ‘Exam warrior art & painting’ at the government secondary school (GSS) in Police Colony here on Monday.
Arunachal Pradesh Women’s Welfare Society president Kani Nada Maling, cartoonist Jene Hai, artist Karken Riba and GSS Headmistress Gogen Ete were the judges of the event.
Pariksha Pe Charcha co-chairman Junty Singpho informed that the objective of the programme was to “help reduce the stress of examination for the students; promote mental and intellectual development, and remove the negative effects of depression among them.”
Maling also spoke.
Roddy Nilling (Holy Cross School), Rage Taku (GHSS Itanagar) and Duge Andy (Donyi Polo Vidhya Bhawan, Itanagar) won the first, second and third prize, respectively, the state BJP informed in a release.
