Free coaching for exams conducted

PASIGHAT, 2 May: The academic board of the Adi Bane Kebang (ABK) organised a 40-day free crash course for NEET/JEE-2023 aspirants here in East Siang district.

The ABK’s academic board member secretary Enuk Libang informed that the programme was a part of their social welfare activities to help poor students, who are unable to afford coaching fees, to appear for the entrance examinations.

The ABK has been conducting programmes, including career counselling, academic excellence awards, free coaching, and scholarships for talented and needy students for the last few years.

Fifteen faculty members, including 11 assistant professors from JN College were engaged in the programme.

About 43 students from East Siang and other districts of the Adi belt availed the free coaching.

Libang informed that “the academic board of the ABK will conduct more such programme, including UPSC-CSE, in July this year.”
