Practise rational thinking

Editor,
Humans are undoubtedly the most selfish creatures on Earth, with endless desires. Stable accessibility of desired eventually leads to neglecting and disregarding what we have and inconsiderately focusing on what we don’t have.

Desire is important for fostering growth and progress, but one cannot undermine that unfulfilled desires are attainable without disregarding and disrespecting what we have.

Cognition and desire must go hand in hand. Disregard and disrespect will always find a way out for reciprocation.

Though the world is evolving digitally, humans are still born and brought up by parents. Social media has the potential to control and influence the human mind/behaviour, but a cognitive mind will have the ability to filter and act wisely.

Just knowing and inaction is the new trend. Try not to be a digital humans, and act wisely. Even Humans are different in many ways – height, skin, age – so how can all have a common mindset? Rational thinking must be practised instead of a herd mentality.
