PASIGHAT, 17 Jul: East Siang deputy commissioner Tayi Taggu on Wednesday inspected the ongoing construction work of the Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya (VKV) building here on Wednesday.
The DC instructed the executing agency PWD to ensure timely completion of all pending works maintaining quality so that the school could start functioning within the scheduled time.
The school building has been funded under Pasighat Smart City project.
Taggu, who is the chairman of the Smart City project, informed that several ongoing projects in the city are progressing well.
During the visit, the DC was accompanied by Smart City CEO Dr. Manjuli Komut, PWD EE Tani Taki and the contractor concerned. (DIPRO)
