Editor,
I am writing to bring to your attention an important issue affecting many non-technical employees in the health department.
Despite having served diligently for many years, the non-technical staffers have not been regularised, whereas only technical staffers have been given regularisation benefits. This has created deep concern and disappointment among thousands of workers who have been contributing to the department’s functioning and public service.
Why are the services of only technical staffers being regularised, while non-technical staffers are being left out? When will the government take steps to regularise the long-serving non-technical employees, who play an equally crucial role in healthcare delivery?
We believe that raising this matter publicly will give voice to many struggling families and push the government to take fair action.
