Editor,

As an aspirant of the Arunachal Engineering Service Examination (AESE) 2025, I wish to draw attention to the prevailing uncertainty caused by the recent decision of the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC).

The commission had declared the results of the AESE 2025 recruitment test on 30 July. Soon after, several anomalies were reported, and many candidates approached the court, seeking justice. On 3 September, the court delivered a clear verdict: all aspirants who have been left out of the zone of consideration should be allowed to sit in the mains examination, and the commission must maintain the 1:12 ratio by publishing a revised result list.

However, before publishing the corrected results, the commission went ahead and rescheduled the mains examination to 28 and 29 September, instead of the earlier dates of 6 and 7 September. This move has left candidates in confusion, as they still do not know who exactly qualifies to appear for the mains.

I sincerely urge the APPSC to first publish the revised results in compliance with the court’s directive and then announce new exam dates, giving aspirants adequate time for preparation. Transparency and fairness are essential to maintain the credibility of this prestigious examination.
