For the last 4-5 days the students residing in the Tirap Halls of Residence at Rajiv Gandhi University, Rono Hills haven’t been able to use water. The water offered to us is unusable, be it for drinking, washing (our bodies and clothes), cooking (mess) and every other activity. Many are seeking alternative sources like going to different hostels and buying packaged water, and some who used the water have reported health issues.
I would like to appeal to the authority concerned to kindly and swiftly take necessary action because I believe no one would like to live without water.
