I would like to request the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission to conduct the PGT mains exam as per the schedule mentioned in the advertisement, ie, on 27 and 28 November.
The exam has already been delayed for several years, and any further postponement will reflect the commission’s unwillingness to hold the exam on time. Moreover, rumours that the commission is giving extra time to a few favoured candidates may be seen as true.
Many schools in our state lack subject teachers, and further delays will worsen the ongoing teacher shortage crisis. I would also like to urge the commission to release the new rules, guidelines, and syllabi for the TGT examination, and to float the advertisement at the earliest.
