Marde gets bail in traffic violation case

ITANAGAR, Dec 7: Former home minister Takar Marde on Wednesday got bail in the case involving a traffic rule violation and a scuffle with a traffic police in Guwahati on Tuesday.
According to reports, the former minister had parked his Hyundai Verna in a no-parking zone near Ganeshguri.
When a traffic policeman asked him to park his car properly, Marde had an argument with the policeman, which led to a minor scuffle, following which Marde was arrested and sent to judicial custody.
The family members of the former minister confirmed his bail over the telephone.
