LONGDING, Apr 29: Teachers from Wakka circle donated Rs 25,000 to the police department and Rs 35000 to the district administration here as assistance towards the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic on Wednesday.
The teachers, led by GHSS Wakka Vice-Principal Chanwang Wangsa handed over the cheques to the Longding deputy commissioner and superintendent of police at their respective offices.
Interacting with the DC, the teachers apprised the DC about the various issues faced by the school and was assured of necessary action by the DC. (DIPRO)
