ITANAGAR, 11 Jul: Chief Secretary Naresh Kumar visited the cremation-cum-burial ground in Chimpu on Saturday and participated in a plantation drive.
The drive was organized by the Yuva Against Corruption Sangh (YACS) and the WINGS Foundation (WF), in collaboration with the Itanagar capital region (ICR) administration.
“The volunteers of the YACS and the WF had been carrying out cleanliness and plantation drives at the burial ground since Monday,” informed EAC Datum Gadi, who has been looking after all the works related to the burial ground on behalf of administration.
The CS was accompanied by senior state government officers and ICR DC Talo Potom.
Later, Potom participated in a social service organized along the highway by the Youth Welfare Association of Ward 1. (DIPRO)
