ITANAGAR, Jan 18: Claiming that two individuals have been illegally appointed in the office of the Dirang PHE subdivision EE, the West Kameng district unit of the All Arunachal Pradesh Workers’ Union has appealed to the PHE Commissioner to immediately cancel their appointments.
In a letter to the commissioner on Thursday, the union alleged that the two individuals have been appointed illegally without conducting DPC or trade test, depriving senior contingency casual workers working in the department for many years.
The union has threatened to launch an indefinite tools-down strike against the authorities if their demand is not met soon.
