ITANAGAR, 14 May: Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman Harivansh Narayan Singh called on Governor BD Mishra at the Raj Bhavan here on Friday, and the two discussed various subjects of development in the state which need special focus and initiative from the state and the central governments.
The governor highlighted the developmental steps taken by the state government “to bring prosperity and progress to the farthest habitation and last man in queue of Arunachal Pradesh.”
He apprised the deputy chairman of the various political and administrative challenges in the state, and the ways out of them.
Singh later planted a sapling of Araucaria in the Raj Bhavan lawn. (Raj Bhavan)
