ITANAGAR, 11 Mar: Dera Natung Government College’s (DNGC) geography department organized a career awareness lecture under the All India Career Awareness Campaign conducted by The Student Chapters (TSC).

The resource person for the programme Kundan Kumar Singh Rajput, founder of The Student Chapters, Patna, Bihar, oriented the students on various career opportunities and the importance of developing skills, clarity of goals, and confidence while choosing their career paths.

During his interaction, he informed the students that Arunachal Pradesh is the 9th state in his nationwide campaign, and he has already covered eight states across India as part of this All India Career Awareness Programme aimed at understanding the aspirations and challenges of Indian youth.

During the session, the speaker introduced the All India Career Awareness Campaign, a youth-focused public interest initiative helping students explore career options. The campaign also addresses common challenges faced by young people such as unemployment, parental expectations, skill development, and the mental pressure associated with career choices, he said.

The session also included interactive discussions where students shared their concerns and aspirations regarding career choices.

Through this campaign and documentary series, The Student Chapters aims to capture the authentic voices, struggles, and aspirations of Indian youth from diverse backgrounds. The initiative seeks to provide clarity, support, courage, and direction, enabling students to make informed and confident decisions about their future.

The programme, coordinated by assistant professor Nang Helina Mantaw, was attended by faculty members Nich Menia, Dr. Mome Mesia, and Dr. Pema Thungon, and around 150 students from the college. (DIPR)
