HAWAI, Jun 30: Hayuliang MLA Dasanglu Pul urged the heads of executing departments in Anjaw district to personally monitor the implementation of all schemes identified under the State Infrastructure Development Fund (SIDF), so that resources are efficiently utilized.
She said this during a district level meeting on finalization of the proposal for SIDF projects for Anjaw district, held at the DC’s conference hall here on Friday.
Deputy Commissioner Mamata Riba in her address urged the stakeholders to innovate new and feasible proposals, and emphasized on efficient implementation under the public financial management system platform.
District Planning Officer Wilia Chautang made a PowerPoint presentation on the recently launched Chief Minister Dashboard, and DDMO S Tayang urged the HoDs to impart training on standard operating procedure on disaster management to their subordinates, based on the district disaster management plan.
Discussions on the modalities of the CM’s Samast Shiksha Yojana, the CM’s Sashakt Kisan Yojana, the CM’s Krishi Samuh Yojana, and the Arunachal Agriculture Start-up Scheme were held during the meeting.
Meanwhile, the Krishi Vigyan Kendra here organised two separate training programmes, on soybean production technology and crop management of pea, at Tafraliang and Metengliang on 28 and 30 June, respectively.
Thirty-one farmers attended the training during which agronomy SMS Khoisnam Naveen spoke on major problems affecting soybean production, nutrient management, weeds, pests, and diseases of soybean. He urged the farmers to adopt improved technology.
Soybean seeds were later distributed among the farmers. (DIPRO)
