ITANAGAR, Oct 11: The Department of Commerce lifted the second University Soccer League 2017 trophy defeating Department of Physical Education 2-1 at Rajiv Gandhi University, Doimukh on Monday.
Department of Commerce was leading Department of Physical Education 1-0 at halftime with goal from Kalung Moda (13).
Physical Education Department restored parity in the second half. Iwu Milli (6) scored equalizer in 54th minute.
Arudi Mimi (9) of scored the winning goal in the last 10 minutes of the match.
The champion team was awarded cash prize of Rs 15,000.
Tasha Appralo (Physical Education) and Janggo Tacho (Commerce) were adjudged the best player and best goal keeper respectively. Pahi Mili (Physical Education) became the highest scorer.
