TAWANG, Oct 12: The district administration of Tawang conducted its sixth round of Sarkar Aapke Dwar programme at the Sera Je Jamyang Choekorling Gonpa (Monastery) of Changprong village under Tawang district on Friday.
As usual, the programme began with ‘jan sunwai’ registering public grievances, in which the villagers have asked for a new cultural centre and improvement of drainage system.
The inspection committee constituted under the Juvenile Justice Act, after inspection, recommended registration of children’s home at the Sera Je Jamyang Choekorling.
Around 500 villagers were benefitted from the programme.
On Thursday, in the fifth round of Sarkar Aapke Dwar conducted at Seru village, nearly 916 villagers were benefitted. (DIPRO)
