A separate cadre

Dear Editor,
I’m writing this in regard of the IAS cadre allocation process. Hardly in a year only 1 or 2 student from our state manage to get through the UPSC exam, mostly in the hope to serve Arunachal Pradesh, one of the least developed state of the country.
Not denying the fact that the ones who get allocated to serve our state cadre isn’t doing their best, but also we can’t deny the very truth that an Arunachali will be more aware of the real problem of our homeland and can relate more with the existing hurdles which will make the officer to push through that extra edge.
I firmly believe that it will add more values towards the development of our state and it will also inspire more Arunachali students to appear for UPSC.
To make the chances of one’s percentage more to get allocated in Arunachal itself , it has to get it’s own separate cadre as it’s very difficult through the present AGMUT cadre.
Thus, I would urge our honourable CM Pema Khandu to please look into this concern more seriously. Though I am aware that this concern has already been raised by him and it deserves to be applauded. Hoping for better and greater Arunachal always!
Sincerely,
A concern Arunachali
