ITANAGAR, Feb 11: The Election Commission of India (ECI) has written to the chief secretaries and the chief electoral officers of all the states and union territories to carry out transfer/posting of all officers by 20 February and submit compliance reports to the ECI by 25 February.
This is a modification on the earlier notice of the ECI in which it had directed the states and UTs to carry out the transfer/posting latest by 28 February and furnish a compliance report by the first week of March.
