ITANAGAR, Nov 7: DMOs, DRCHOs and district programme officers from various districts participated in a state-level workshop on ‘Preparation of district health action plan (DHAP) for the 2020-21 financial year under NHM’ at a city hotel here on Thursday.
During the workshop, which was organized by the state unit of the National Health Mission (NHM), the participants were apprised of the Centre’s guidelines on preparing DHAPs with inputs from all the state programme officers and nodal officers for the RMNCHA, besides strengthening the health system and all vertical programmes.
NHM nodal officer Dr D Padung made a presentation on “the intricacies of preparation of DHAP and the state programme implementation plan (SPIP) under the NHM for the year 2020-21.”
He explained the technical details and the guidelines “as to how it could be used for preparation of a robust DHAP/SPIP for Arunachal Pradesh for submission to the Centre.”
The timeline for submission of the DHAPs by the districts is 30 November, which will be followed up by compiling/collating at the state level for submission to the central government.
