ITANAGAR, Nov 21: To promote karate and produce quality players, a five days training for karate instructors organized by the Arunachal Shito-Ryu Karate Do Association (ASKA) began at CSP Indoor Club near Indira Gandhi Park here on Tuesday.
North East Karate Referee Commission Secretary, Tala Ahmed from Manipur and ASKA Technical Director, Bulang Marik will conduct the training.
During the training, the latest karate techniques will be imparted to the instructors, who will further train budding karate players in their respective districts.
Around 26 instructors from various districts are attending the training cum kata seminar.
Arunachal Karate Do Association President, Shihan Likha Tara, who declared the training open, advised the trainees to learn as much as they can and impart the knowledge they have learnt to the players.
The brief inauguration function was attended by karate administrators and officials.
