LONGDING, Apr 1: The Longding district administration initiated sanitization of all the ‘important locations’ in the township here on Wednesday.
Longding CHC MO, Dr Wangnai Wangsu, informed that a team of health workers will take up the work of sanitizing various locations, including the DC office, the SP office, the treasury office, the SBI building, the court, the UTP cell, the police station, the CHC, the quarantine centre, and the isolation ward.
“The process of sanitizing the identified locations will continue as those places are likely to get infected with Covid-19 and spread further,” Dr Wansgu said.
He informed that “all the required medicines and logistics have been made available,” while a 10-bedded isolation ward and fully furnished quarantine centres have been set up in the district. (DIPRO)
