PALIN, Apr 15: All Kra Daadi District Students’ Union (AKDDSU) has written to the deputy commissioner seeking assistance for reportedly over 158 students from the district that are stranded outside the state.
The AKDDSU claimed that it has contacted the students and “the students have been surviving on their own for the last 21 days,” while “their parents/ guardians are unable to help them due to the lockdown.”
While it said that it welcomed the decision of the government’s lockdown extension, the union also sought support for the stranded students from Kra Daadi district.
“We need to support our stranded students in every possible manner -morally, physically and financially, so that they can stay back at their respective places without any distress,” it said.
