ITANAGAR, Sep 16: Rejecting the clarification given by Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein on Friday, the Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) in a communiqué said that his clarification should come with facts and figures instead of plain speeches to prove his innocence.
The APCC further said that “if the allegations are unfounded then the state government through a cabinet decision may dare to order a CBI probe into the alleged financial scam so that the truth is revealed”.
The Deputy Chief Minister had clarified his stand on the allegations made by the APCC of fund mismanagement and termed them unfounded during a ‘Sankalp Se Siddhi’ programme cum district party executive meeting held at Namsai on Friday.
