ITANAGAR, Sep 18: The Staff Selection Commission (NER), Guwahati appealed to all the public fora and bodies to halt their agitation activities during the period from September 16 to October 16 as more than 3000 candidates from the state are going to appear in the Multi Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff Examination, 2016 written examination at Naharlagun.
Any inconvenience caused to the candidates by way of blocking of road or other disruptive activities at the venues will deprive the job aspiring youths of the state the opportunity to compete with the rest of the country for this post of the central government, the SSC said in a release.
It appealed to halt all the agitation activities or at least exempt the candidates and officials from the bandh/strike and allow free movement during that period so that all the candidates from the state can come and write the examination without any hassle.
