AALO, Sep 20: District Electoral Officer, Swetika Sachan on Wednesday held a meeting regarding special summary revision on photo electoral roll with all the AROs, AEROs and BLOs.
The summary will commence from October 1 this year and conclude on 1st January, 2018 as qualifying date for the universal enrolment of all eligible citizens as per the instruction of the Election Commission of India.
DEO Sachan, who is also the Deputy Commissioner, requested all to work in proactive manner so that necessary corrections and deletions could be completed on time. She directed all to put maximum effort to complete 100 percent PVC EPIC.
CO (Election) Lijum Ete spoke about the process of summary revision and informed that on October 3, draft publication of electoral rolls will be done. All the process should be completed before 1st January, 2018 as final date of Publication of Photo Electoral Roll would be on 5th January, 2018, he added. (DIRPO)
