ITI student brutally attacked, police clueless about attacker

ROING, Oct 17: Police are still clueless about the person, who brutally attacked a student of ITI Roing Thursday last.
Nisa Rondo, a student the institute lost her consciousness after she was hit with a stone by an unknown person while returning to her hostel around 6:30 PM.
Shockingly, when Rondo regained some consciousness, she found the attacker trying to carry her somewhere else. Reportedly, when she questioned his intention, he threw her on the ground and started hitting her face and head repeatedly, while constantly tugging on her hair.
At the moment, a motorcyclist came that way and when she started calling for help, the attacker left her alone and fled on a scooter, snatching her mobile phone and purse.
The motorcyclist took the severely injured unconscious girl to the District Hospital, and a report was later made at the police station by the girl and her family.
Rondo has sustained severe injuries to her face. Because of her dazed condition, she is still unable to tell the police anything about the appearance of her attacker.
Meanwhile, the police have informed that the investigation is on and the culprit will soon be arrested.
