ITANAGAR, Nov 21: Former Chairman of the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC), Dr Ligu Tacho has joined the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday.
Describing Dr Ligu’s joining as a major milestone for the BJP in the state, BJP state President, Tapir Gao urged him to use his vast knowledge and experience for furthering the interest of the Party in the State. He also appealed to Dr Ligu to guide and groom the younger cadres of the party as a fatherly figure by sharing his wisdom and experience.
Committing to work sincerely for the Party, Dr Ligu also categorically stated that he does not have any political ambition, except to serve the party to the best of his abilities.
