ITANAGAR, Nov 23: Heavy metal band from France, ‘Benighted’ is set to perform for the western music lovers at Nyokum Lapang Ground on Friday in the event, Capital Chaos Vol. 4.
Benighted is a French death grind band formed in Saint Etienne in 1998. The group comprises of vocalist, Julien Truchan, guitarists Emmanuel Dalle and Fabien Fack Desgardins, bassist Pierre Arnoux and drummer Romain Goulon, said Tana Doni of MiO Event Management, which is organizing the musical event.
He informed that the annual event is held to provide a platform to the artistes to showcase their musical talents.
Apart from Benighted, other bands, including Soul of Phoenix, Lunatic Fringe LF, The Last Theory and Sacred Secrecy will also perform, Doni further told.
Benighted, with eight studio albums released, has already performed at New Delhi, Guwahati and Manipur this year, said one of the band members, and that they have received an overwhelming response in those areas.
Capital Chaos Vol. 4 is the fourth edition of the Capital Chaos series of annual music event, celebrating the rock and metal scenes, with focus on quality music, quality bands and quality marketing, with the sole objective of promoting music.
