Arunachal student attacked in Himachal Pradesh

ITANAGAR, Nov 29: A student of Arunachal Pradesh pursuing higher education in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh was allegedly attacked by a group of youths and was inflicted with grievous injuries.
Gobin Niji, an architectural engineering student of Goyal Shimla University was brutally attacked by the group at around 9.30 pm, requiring ICU admission on November 26, informed the All Nyishi Students’ Union (ANSU).
He is currently admitted in PGIMER, Chandigarh.
In a representation, the ANSU on Wednesday urged the Home Minister of Arunachal Pradesh to take up the case with his Himachal Pradesh counterpart immediately to take necessary action against those involved in the attack on the student from Arunachal Pradesh.
The ANSU vehemently condemned the incident and prayed for early recovery of the student.
