NAHARLAGUN, Dec 5: Twenty-two Group A and B officers of the Legal Metrology & Consumer Affairs Department are participating in a three-day training programme on ‘Power and Functions of DDOs’ which began at the Administrative Training Institute (ATI) here on Tuesday.
In his inaugural address, ATI Director Pate Marik has said that the officers holding the charge of DDOs have the responsibility to ensure financial discipline in a work system.
Informing that with the change of the government at the Centre, many changes have been effected in the central and state government’s financial rules, and advised the officers to update their knowledge and skills.
Deputy Controller of Legal Metrology, Daro Marbom and ATI Finance & Accounts Officer CW Lohan also spoke.
