ITANAGAR, Feb 14: In view of the visit of the Prime Minister of India here on Thursday, the District Administration has made traffic arrangements, following which movement of vehicular traffic will be regulated on certain stretches and routes.
There will be no vehicular movement / parking on the route from Raj Bhawan to IG Park in between 10.10 AM and 10.40 AM, and then between 11.10 AM to 11.40 AM on 15 February for smooth passage of the VVIP carcade.
Vehicles coming from Naharlagun towards Itanagar will be diverted at Pappu Nallah – Jully trijunction from 9AM to 11.30 AM on 15 February towards Jully – Ganga, Itanagar.
Vehicles coming from Chandranagar side and going towards Naharlagun will be diverted between 10 AM to 11. 40 AM on 15 February towards Jully – Ganga road, Itanagar at Ganga Jully Trijunction.
Vehicles are directed to avoid roads leading to the Helipad, Raj Bhawan, Raj Bhawan Trijunction, Mithun Gate, Zero Point, Bank Tinali and Niti Vihar Gate of IG Park between 10 AM to 11.40 AM on 15 February to avoid inconvenience.
All buses (carrying invitees) coming from Ganga to IG Park will de-board near D-Sector gate and will be sent to Nyokum Lapang Ground.
All buses carrying invitees coming from Naharlagun will de-board them near D-Sector gate and will be sent to the park at the assembly or higher secondary school of E-sector ground.
