HAYULIANG, Feb 18: Additional Deputy Commissioner Kego Jilen inaugurated the Statehood Day Open Badminton Tournament here in Anjaw district on Saturday.
Forty-five teams from Hawai, Swami Camp, Tezu and Hayuliang are participating in the tournament, in both double and single categories.
As part of the Statehood Day celebration, the administration is also organizing a marathon race to create awareness on the demerits of opium cultivation on Monday, according to an official release.
