SEPPA, Mar 17: The East Kameng Social Welfare and Cultural Organisation (EKSWCO) distributed immediate relief materials to the fire victims of Tungi village, where three houses were reduced to ashes in a fire incident on 15 March.
Relief materials, including utensil and foot items were distributed to each affected families.
Earlier, on 13 March, EKSWCO volunteers led by its general secretary Nikam Tallang distributed relief materials to the victims of the fire accident of Mangkhya village.
EKSWCO chairman Khya Safar Pao appealed to the villagers to be cautious and to put off fire before leaving their homes.
He urged the district administration to extend every possible help to the fire victims of both villages for their quick rehabilitation.
