CHANGLANG, Mar 17: Security forces here apprehended a self styled private of the Tai Singpho Security Force (TSSF) from Margherita area of Assam this morning.
Troops of the Assam Rifles, based on specific intelligence about presence of an ultra trying to terrorize and extort money, conducted an operation in Margherita area near Changlang district early this morning, and Self Styled Private Nongbu Singpho of the outfit was apprehended, informed Kohima based defences spokesperson Col C Konwer.
The nabbed militant has admitted to his allegiance to the TSSF and ULFA (I), Col Konwer said, informing further that Nongbhu had been an active part of the outfit since 2014.
