ITANAGAR, Mar 19: The All Pipu Chayang Tajo Gyawepurang Sawa Students Union (APCGSSU) reiterated its demand to bring their area under BSNL network coverage by completing the cellular tower at Domdila-Tajo without any further delay.
The union informed that the tower remained incomplete since 2010.
“It seems that the project will take another decade or two for completion,” the union said, and held the BSNL authority’s negligence directly responsible for the inordinate delay.
It said that numerous representations were already submitted to the BSNL authority pleading early completion of the tower, but to no avail, and gave the General Manager of BSNL, Itanagar a month’s time, with 19 March being the first day, to complete it.
