CHANGLANG, Mar 22: An NSCN (R) militant was apprehended from 17 Mile area of Jairampur in a joint operation conducted by the 13 Assam Rifles and Jairampur unit police on Wednesday.
A 9 mm pistol with magazine, live rounds and extortion money were seized from the possession of the militant, who has been identified as Self Styled Pvt Chajong Mossang.
A criminal case has been registered against the arrested cadre. (DIPRO)
