ITANAGAR, Apr 8: Differently-abled (hearing impaired) girl students of the Donyi-Polo Mission School for the Hearing Impaired (DPMSHI) here participated in the Doon Cup Soccer Tournament-2018, which was held in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, from 29 March to 2 April.
The U-17 team from the school was awarded the Fair Play trophy.
The Doon Cup-2018 was hosted by Ecole Global International Schools, Dehradun. Twenty-eight teams from all over India and one team from Dubai took part in it.
The DPMSHI team was escorted by A Dey.
The management of the DPMSHI thanked the Arunachal Pradesh sports department for sponsoring the trip for the Doon Cup and providing the differently-abled students the opportunity to play outside the state.
